Feel free to take a look at our FAQs, made just for your convenience!
Is Casa Wayra a good option to stay in Lima, Peru?
Definitely yes. Casa Wayra is a nice Bed & Breakfast, quiet with garden and excellent location in Lima.
We have 95% satisfied guests and we are on the top 10 of Lima for the last 7 years.
Location? It is the best location Miraflores or there are better ones.
In Lima, definitely the place where you should stay is in Miraflores.
But inside Miraflores we can divide it in some areas.
Zone 1. Which is around Kennedy Park, is not the best area for various reasons, among the most important, for its excessive traffic 24h and street noise. There are the most touristic restaurants, but they do not provide good quality food.
Zone 2. Is where we are located with Casa Wayra B&B, is strategically the best area of Miraflores between Kennedy and Larcomar. Here are the 5 star hotels and the best restaurants of Lima, everywhere you walk. There is security 24h. You can walk to Larcomar and enjoy the boardwalk next to the sea. It´s a mix between residential and commercial area, so traffic is very little and there are many green areas. In addition, it is only 2 blocks from the Metropolitan Bus station that takes you in 20 minutes to the Historic Center of Lima and the Water Park.
Zone 3. Behind the Park of Love. Being there you have near the boardwalk, but you have very far the metropolitan bus station. And if you want to go to Miraflores restaurants, in many cases you will have to take a taxi to get you there.
It's a Hotel the same as a B&B?
Definitely a B&B is not a Hotel, they are different hosting concepts.
B&Bs are guest houses.
A difference is that the attention is personalized, in most cases by the owner.
Other is that you can save some money. It all depends on what you are looking for. The money saved can be up from US$40 to US$80 for night. And this difference, will make you have more money to travel, to eat, take tours and others.
For many people, a B&B is a great choice of accommodation; everything depends on the profile of the traveler and the type of trip that wants to have.
A 3-star Hotel that would be the next step, is a building that supposedly has standard facilities. But that does not mean that it is better in all cases, since the attention is usually more indifferent to the traveler.
In Lima there are good hotels and others that claim to be 3-star Hotel, but they are not.
On average, a regular hotel cost´s more than US$100 for night. In many cases, on the Internet bookers websites they put a price that does not include 10% services that are charged on arrival, and even some do not include breakfast, which they charge separately and this increases the price.
Price - Quality
For the price we offer, we are an excellent alternative to stay in Lima.
Is CW B&B a backpacker’s hostel?
No, the concept of hostels or backpackers in Lima are the cheapest option and have shared rooms and shared bathrooms. They have an environment designed for young people with a bar, music and where selling alcohol is an important factor.
Casa Wayra B&B is a guest house with all private rooms, with private bathroom and a terrace with garden. We foment a quiet environment, for the pleasant rest of our guests.
If you are looking for bars, there are many cool places to go very near our location. All walking distance.
We offer a quiet, clean and super located alternative for stay in Lima.
Is breakfast good?
We consider it is a good breakfast, it is served personalized on the terrace and garden of the house.
It is an American breakfast with 100% natural fruit juice, organic coffee from the rainforest of Peru, various teas, scrambled or fried eggs, good bread, butter, milk and organic jams from Peruvian fruits.
Can you repeat? Sure, just ask us.
Is renting an apartment a good option?
This depends on each one.
Remember that nobody will prepare breakfast for you or wash the dishes, change the wet towels and clean the room daily. You will not meet other travelers and I think the most important, nobody can give you help or advice any time about where to go and how to enjoy the city.
How is our house?
It is a traditional house of Miraflores, with garden and terrace.
Miraflores is an old district, therefore there are no new houses.
Our house is conditioned and remodeled to receive guests, with comfortable and clean rooms.
We believe that the human factor is the most important, so we give the 100% of us to offer you the best option of B&B to stay in Lima.
